Palace Het Loo
Located on the outskirts of Apeldoorn, Palace Het Loo is one of the most monumental and regal landmarks in the Netherlands. Built in the seventeenth century, this former royal palace served for centuries as the summer residence of the House of Orange-Nassau. Following an extensive renovation and a grand underground expansion, the palace has been transformed into a state-of-the-art museum. Visitors can wander through beautifully restored historic rooms, admire the royal stables with their impressive collection of carriages, and stroll through the world-renowned, perfectly symmetrical Baroque gardens. Palace Het Loo offers a fascinating glimpse into three hundred years of royal history and princely grandeur, surrounded by the tranquil nature of the Veluwe region.
